Feed Products & Service Co., the Midwest's leading supplier of Feed Ingredients, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Coordinator to join our production team at our Madison, IL plant. FPS specializes in Mineral Feed Ingredient packaging and Bulk distribution programs. We remain a local, Midwest-owned and operated company that is small enough to pay attention to the details, but large enough to service more than 20 states throughout the US. We strive to serve our customers by delivering the finest feed ingredients on time, right to their door. Our passion is serving the Feed industry who serve our food industry. The Quality Candidate requires a bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Minimum 2 years experience in a lab, and must posses a high level of managment ability.  Qualifiying attributes include a high level of common sence, problem solving, computer skills, critical thinking, meticulus methodogy, intelligence and effective communication.  Laboratory managment is a must including data Information systems, inventory, safe mechanical device operation, execution of group presentations and customer service.

The candidate must have integrity and instill confidence within established programs and convey transparent controls accountable to our public.   Certifications and Quality Assurance is an integral part of our business and the quality coordinator will implement, maintain, train, audit required protocols, administer paperwork and document retention of samples relating to all regulations and liason between the goverment regulating agencies and any other organizations public or private to conduct inspections within the company.

The Quality Coordinator Candidate will also be expected to participate in training sample taking, assist with posting of Satefy Data Sheets, safety procedures and other personnel duties including Health related activities such as evaluations of hearing and respriatory, injury incident reports, first aid and insurance sanctioned procedures.

This position is very important to the company for a variety of reasons and the individual will need to be a conscientious individual who is interested in the advancement of the company and its image.  They must have outstanding communication skills and an ability to interpret test results accuratly and quickly.  This person will also be expected to provide research on certain subjects and be able to communicate their finding with the other management teams.
